Creating a Pass/Fail QUiz
When creating a scored quiz in ProForm for a SCORM 1.2 LMS which Record Lesson Status option should I use? We want a Pass/Fail based on score, not a Complete/Incomplete. Also, what is the significance of the SCORM 1.3 Success Status under the Advance Tab? Thanks!

Hi Lisa,
The SCORM 1.3 success status only applies if you are publishing to SCORM 2004 (also known as SCORM 1.3). Concerning the combination of settings to use, you'll want to be sure the "Report Score" box is checked and the "api Pass or Fail" option is selected in the drop down. Then you'll need to set the maximum score to 100 and the minimum to your passing score.

Here is what I have been doing to have the course complete only if the user passes the assessment at the end of the course:
In Edit Project set:
Tracking = SCORM 1.2, Course Completion Status = None
In Quiz Settings set:
Quiz Type = Test
Show Results = Checked
Report Score = Checked
Include Review = No Check
Number Questions = Checked
Pass Percentage = (passing score here)
Record Lesson Status = Pass or Incomplete (Scorm 1.2)In Publish Course set:
Be sure to set Publish Method to Scorm 1.2
